US Syria plots

The leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution in his remarks said the US created chaos to gain dominance over Syria, stating that he is confident that a “strong honorable” establishment will emerge in Syria.

Militants led by Hay’at Tahrira al-Sham toppled the government of Syrian president Bashar al-Assad in early Dec. with the Pentagon saying that it doubled the number of its troops in Syria before Assad’s fall.

At the same time, Israel expanded occupation in the Arab country, seizing more strategic areas. This episode of Spotlight interviews Hafsa Kara-Mustapha, a journalist and political analyst, and Batool Subeiti, an activist and political analyst, both from London on US plots in Syria.
