About 100 of the abductees still remain unaccounted for. More than 20-thousand Nigerians have been killed since the onset of Boko Haram's militancy in 2009.

Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip are bracing for the third consecutive week of peaceful demonstrations, dubbed the Great March of Return. Thousands are expected to participate in the third Friday of the rallies. As this Friday’s theme, protesters plan to burn Israeli flags and wave Palestinian ones. This comes as the Israeli regime is deploying snipers and tanks ahead of the mass protest. People of Gaza began their six-week protests on March 30. The reaction comes after Theresa May won a backing from her senior ministers to take unspecified action with the US and France against Syria.
