French NGOs Europalestine and AJPO sue ‘Israel is Forever’

Nili Kupfer-Naouri, Head of 'Israel is Forever'.

The actions of the lead of a Franco Israel organization blocking trucks carrying humanitarian aid for the besieged civilians in Gaza have been widely condemned.

Nili Kupfer-Naouri, president of the “Israel is Forever” association, is one individual specifically named in the civil suit for complicity in genocide.

They are putting on (the) internet videos showing how they're starving the population in Gaza.

So, because they are also French, we have the possibility to sue them, and we put a complaint against them.

Those people are an accomplice [sic] to the genocidal Israeli behavior towards the population of Gaza.

The NGO said it was crucial that those who supported these actions, including French nationals, be held accountable for their roles.

At a rally this weekend, members of the Europalestine NGO also expressed satisfaction at the arrest warrants issued by The International Court of Justice against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former minister of military affairs Yoav Gallant.

Both men are accused of war crimes and crimes against humanity. However, some observers say that any legal proceedings will likely prove purely symbolic.

Not only Netanyahu and Galant must be afraid if they visit a number of countries, who are part of the International Criminal Court, but also ... everybody who is complicit ... can be sued, and they must.

This is a very important warning. It's not just symbolic.

Justice in such cases moves notoriously slowly.

As lawyers prepare for a court case that may be months away, the relentless massacre of civilians and the wanton destruction of infrastructure in Gaza continue unabated with no sign of a ceasefire in sight.
