Israel's ceasefire violation
Politically Israel and Lebanon have reached an agreement for a ceasefire; however, a closer examination of the situation on the ground reveal clear violations of this agreement with the Israeli army conducting various strikes in multiple areas not just along the border villages but even further in land and also targeting civilians.
Even the sound of the Israeli drones can once again be heard in the Lebanese airspace.
In response to the situation, the US military has appointed Major General Jasper Jeffers to oversee implementation of the ceasefire brokered in Washington which went into effect in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
But the question remains whether he will be able to accurately report on Israel's violation of Lebanon's sovereignty.
As in the case of recent events in Syria where armed groups have attacked Syria and seized control of various cities, including Aleppo. This edition of the program looks deeper into these developments.
