Harming the civilian population as much as possible so they can turn against those who are actually fighting for them is an Israeli strategy practiced since 2006 in Palestine and Lebanon.
The strategy has been used in Gaza for more than 13 months now and is repeated in Dahiya, southern Lebanon and other parts of the country. Lebanon has experienced 145 Israeli strikes during the last 24 hours.
In this edition of the Spotlight, Press TV and guests, Ali Rizk, security and political analyst out of Beirut and Saad Nimr, professor of political science at Birzeit University from Ramallah explore the Israeli assassination campaign in Lebanon and what it means.
