US-Israeli genocide in Gaza
Israel continues its genocidal onslaught on Gaza, killing more Palestinians in its indiscriminate air and artillery strikes. The latest air raids targeted Gaza City and Nuseirat refugee camp, leaving six people dead. According to Gaza officials, at least 23 people have been killed in Israeli attacks on Friday alone. This brings Palestinians death toll in Gaza to over 43,500 since early October last year. Most of the casualties are women and children. Meanwhile, the United Nations has warned about the deteriorating situation in northern Gaza. It says Israel’s military is preventing food and water from the besieged area where an estimated 95,000 Palestinians are trapped and are in need of supplies for their survival.
Hezbollah retaliatory operations
Hezbollah conducts fresh operations against Israeli targets in the occupied territories, while it continues to fight the invading Israeli forces in southern Lebanon. The Lebanese resistance movement says it launched a salvo of advanced missiles at Israel’s Tel Nof Air Base, south of Tel Aviv. Loud explosions have been reported in Tel Aviv after the attack by Hezbollah. Lebanese fighters have also targeted a training base for Israeli paratroopers in the Karmiel settlement. Several other Israeli settlements have also been struck in the latest operations. Meanwhile, the Israeli military has admitted that at least one of its soldiers has been killed in clashes with resistance fighters in southern Lebanon.
Anti-Israel protests
Hundreds of thousands of Yemenis have staged another Friday of mass rallies across the country to express their support for the people of Palestine and Lebanon. The protesters chanted slogans against Israel and its main supporter the United States. They also praised the Yemeni army’s anti-Israeli operations.
