Leader remarks
The Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution says Israel must be made to understand the power, resolve and initiative of the Iranian nation. Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says it’s up to the country’s officials to decide how this is done in line with the country’s best interests. The Leader said the country’s enemies are suffering from, what he called, miscalculation when it comes to Iran and this must be rectified. The Leader made the remarks in a meeting with the families of those martyred while protecting the country’s security. He was speaking after the Israeli regime’s military aggression against Iran. The Leader said the evil act must be neither magnified nor downplayed. Ayatollah Khamenei also slammed Israeli war crimes in Gaza and Lebanon and called for a diplomatic, economic and even military coalition against the regime.
US-Israeli genocide in Gaza
The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas says Israel’s recent deadly strike on residential buildings in northern Gaza represents one of the most horrific forms of genocide and forced displacement in modern times. At least 45 people were killed in an Israeli attack on six buildings in the northern town of Beit Lahiya on Saturday. The attack also wounded dozens more. The group called the strike a continuation of the ongoing massacres happening in northern Gaza amid the world’s inaction. Hamas says the US is complicit in Israel’s crimes and its campaign of extermination in northern Gaza. Since early October, the Israeli army has carried out a ground assault on the region, killing more than 800 people. The regime has also forcibly displaced tens of thousands of residents out of the area.
Hezbollah retaliation
The Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah has carried out fresh retaliatory operations against the Israeli regime and in defense of the civilians of Lebanon. Hezbollah successfully hit the Naoura base east of the northern occupied city of Afula using a squadron of drones. It targeted Israeli troops in settlements and bases with salvoes of rockets and missiles in both the occupied Palestinian territories and at the border of southern Lebanon. The resistance also announced the bombing of Sha'ar Yeshuf settlement, and the targeting of two barracks. These retaliations come as the Israeli regime’s relentless air raids on Lebanon rage on, killing and injuring thousands of civilians.
