Iran foils Israeli attack
Iran has strongly condemned the aggressive actions of the Israeli regime against the country’s military sites, calling it a blatant violation of international law and the United Nations Charter. Iran’s foreign ministry in a statement asserted Tehran's right to self-defense, declaring its obligation to respond to foreign aggression. It also emphasized the country’s commitment to utilize all means and resources to protect its national security and vital interests. Iran has further called upon all regional states to uphold peace and stability, expressing gratitude to those who have condemned Israel's aggressive actions. The statement also highlighted that the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza and the aggression in Lebanon are primary sources of tension and insecurity in the region. Iran reminds UN member states of their collective responsibility to act urgently against the gross violation of international law and halt the Israeli bloodshed in Gaza and Lebanon.
Condemning Israeli airstrikes
Countries across the region and the world are condemning the Israeli regime's military action against Iran as aggressive and provocative. Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, the UAE, Pakistan, Yemen, Iraq, Syria and Malaysia have joined in condemning the regime’s aggression against Iran’s sovereignty. Oman denounced Israel's action as a clear violation of international norms and called for global action against its destabilizing behavior. Malaysia labeled Israel’s move as a violation of international law, while Pakistan condemned it as insolent and a blatant breach of the United Nations Charter. Iraq pledged solidarity with Iran and criticized the global silence on Israel's actions. Meanwhile, the Hamas resistance movement released a statement condemning Israel's attack as a dangerous escalation that threatens regional peace and security.
Hezbollah retaliatory operations
The Hezbollah resistance movement has carried out more retaliatory attacks on Israeli positions in the occupied territories. Hezbollah says it targeted three Merkava tanks with guided missiles. Two of the tanks were on the outskirts of the southern Lebanese town of Odaisseh and the other was near the "Misgav Am" site in occupied Palestine. The tanks were burned down and their crews were either killed or wounded. Hezbollah also launched an air attack on an Israeli army base east of the city of Safad in northern occupied territories. The attack was carried out with a swarm of explosives-laden drones. Hezbollah says the attacks are in support of the Palestinian people and in defense of Lebanon.
