The Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah continues with its retaliatory strikes on Israeli targets in solidarity with Palestinians in the war-ravaged Gaza Strip and in defense of people in Lebanon.

In the early hours of Sunday, Hezbollah fighters targeted the Israeli occupation forces camp in Mi’ilya and a gathering of the regime’s soldiers in the al-Manara and Shoumera settlements with salvos of rockets, according to separate statements released by the movement.

The resistance group also struck a gathering of Israeli occupation forces in the vicinity of the Ramya site using a guided missile, killing and wounding an unspecified number of soldiers on site.

Hezbollah also targeted an armored vehicle in the vicinity of the Ramya site with a guided missile, achieving a direct hit, as well as a gathering of the regime’s forces in Tal Shaar with artillery shells, the statements read.

They also attacked a military target in the occupied Golan with drones and targeted the Zarit barracks with artillery rockets and a Burkan rocket, achieving direct hits.

Moreover, the Lebanese resistance movement detonated an explosive device to prevent the infiltration of Israeli forces into the Tal al-Mudawar area in Ramya.

“In support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their brave and honorable resistance, and in defense of Lebanon and its people, at 04:45 AM on Sunday, 13-10-2024, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance detonated an explosive device targeting a force of Israeli enemy soldiers and clashed with them as they attempted to infiltrate the Tal Al-Medwar area in the town of Ramia, leaving its members killed and wounded,” Hezbollah said in a statement.

“The clashes are still ongoing at this moment, utilizing medium weapons and machine guns.”

The latest attacks took place a few hours after the resistance movement launched a retaliatory strike against the outskirts of the city of Tel Aviv with a squadron of kamikaze drones.

Since last October, Hezbollah has launched hundreds of retaliatory strikes against Israeli-occupied territories in solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza, who have been facing an ongoing genocidal war by Israel.

Israeli attacks on Lebanon have taken a deadlier turn over the past weeks. They have claimed the lives of more than 2,000 Lebanese people, including Hezbollah’s Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

The group has vowed to continue its defense of Lebanon and its people, as well as its support for the Palestinian resistance.
