Israel war on Lebanon

Israel presses ahead with its air raids on Lebanese towns and villages, causing more deaths and destruction. According to Lebanon’s Health Ministry, at least seven people have been killed and more than 10 others have been wounded in new Israeli air strikes. The attacks targeted areas near and in the southern city of Sidon. The ministry says at least sixty civilians have been killed and nearly one-hundred-seventy others injured in the past day. Israeli airstrikes, which primarily target Lebanese residential areas, have killed over 2,200 people and displaced a million others since October 8 last year. Meanwhile, Hezbollah continues to fend off Israeli incursions in the south, while hitting the regime’s military positions across the occupied Palestinian territories.

Resilient resistance

The Hezbollah resistance movement says the group is alive and strong and the battle with Israel is still at its beginning. Afif said resistance fighters refuse to withdraw even from positions that are considered militarily fallen, out of their belief in defending their country and people. He stressed that the enemy targets residential areas under the false pretext that they are weapons depots. He added that the US is fully supporting Israel’s aggression and is therefore complicit in the regime’s crimes. The Hezbollah official also lashed out at the United Nations and the international community for failing to take genuine action to stop the Israeli regime’s atrocities.

Israeli genocide in Gaza

Palestinians are facing a catastrophic situation in the northern Gaza Strip seven days into an Israeli siege on Jabalia refugee camp. Gaza civil defense agency says 30 people have been killed in Israeli strikes on the refugee camp on Friday alone. Israel has conducted a massive bombing operation in the area. The campaign has demolished homes and shut down hospitals, leaving many dead or wounded. This is amid a blockade on the entry of food, water, and fuel. The Red Crescent says all ambulances in the northern Gaza Strip have run out of fuel. Israeli drones are also targeting civilians who try to leave the camp.
