British pensioners have welfare cut as govt. sends more money to Ukraine

After MPs voted to make cuts to winter fuel payments originally designated to help the elderly, all but the poorest pensioners will no longer receive the winter fuel allowance. However, as British pensioners will have to grapple with cold and lack of fuel in winter, UK top diplomat David Lammy announced nearly $800 million worth of support for Ukraine.
