US-Israeli genocide in Gaza

More Palestinians are killed as the Israeli regime presses ahead with its air and artillery strikes on the besieged Gaza Strip. In the latest attack, at least five people were killed after an Israeli airstrike targeted a group of Palestinians near the Nusierat refugee camp in central Gaza. Earlier, an Israeli air raid targeting a school-turned-shelter in northern Gaza left several people dead. Also, Israeli drone and artillery strikes on several areas across the coastal territory caused an unknown number of casualties. The Israeli war on Gaza began in October last year. Since then, nearly 40,900 people have been killed and over 94,000 others injured. Hunger, malnutrition and lack of medical supplies are also taking their toll on the Gaza population.

Israeli killing of US activist

The family of a Turkish-American female activist, who was fatally shot by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank on Friday, has called for an independent investigation into her death. 26-year-old Ayshenur Ezgi Eygi was shot in the head and during a protest against Israeli settlements in the town of Beita. She had arrived in the West Bank on Tuesday to volunteer with the International Solidarity Movement, aiming to support and protect Palestinian farmers. In a statement, her family said Ayshenur was active in student-led protests and advocated for human dignity and an end to violence against the Palestinian people. The Turkish Foreign Ministry condemned her death as a "murder" by the Israeli regime. This is not the first time the Tel Aviv regime has killed an American activist. In 2003, an Israeli bulldozer crushed to death 23-year-old US peace activist Rachel Corrie as she tried to prevent the army from destroying homes in Gaza.

Hezbollah resistance

The Hezbollah resistance movement has fired dozens of rockets and drones from Lebanon toward Israeli-occupied northern Palestine. The operation was carried out after a number of towns in southern Lebanon witnessed heavy Israeli shelling.
