Twenty-two-year-old Alipour won the gold with his fifth throw of 14.78 out of six attempts. His second attempt landed the shot 14.71 meters away, breaking the Asian para-athletic record.
Olad won the silver with a throw of 13.89 in his second attempt.
So far, Sareh Javanmardi has earned the country’s only other gold with her brilliant performance in the P2 10m air pistol SH1 shooting competitions.
Zafar Zaker, another Iranian shot putter, bagged a silver medal in men’s shotput-F55 at Stade de France in the north of Paris on Friday after Iranian authorities lodged an appeal in protest at the performance of two other shot putters from Serbia and Poland, who had won a silver and bronze medal respectively.
Fatemeh Hemmati and Hadi Nouri have also clinched silver medals in the mixed team compound open archery event, while Zahra Rahimi has emulated the success in para-taekwondo.
Ali-Reza Bakht and Hamed Haghshenas, other para-taekwondo athletes, have won two bronzes, and Parastou Habibi has earned another bronze in women's club throw F32.
