Gaza school bombed while preparing for Friday Prayers

Gaza leveled

While Gazans from the Al-Daraj neighborhood were preparing themselves for Friday Prayers, an Israeli air raid took place, killing scores of Palestinians at the Al-Taba’een school.

These people had been displaced many times inside Gaza.

Today, there was a big massacre in a place that is supposed to be safe, a school.

What do we have to say?

We tell the world, where is your conscience, where is your heart? And I tell our people in Gaza, your steadfastness is a big miracle.

The UN has reported that 477 out of 564 school buildings in Gaza have been directly hit or damaged as of 6 July, with more than a dozen targeted since.

Al-Taba’een school housed more than 1,000 people - having recently received dozens of displaced people from the town of Beit Hanoun, after the Israeli army ordered them to leave their homes.

The Israeli military claims that it struck a Hamas command and control center embedded in the school, but the educational facility has been accommodating internally displaced Palestinians.

In more than 300 days of the genocidal Israeli war on Gaza, many massacres have been committed.

Their goal is ethnic cleansing of Palestinians and genocide.

This is an act of genocide, and Netanyahu, at the same time, wants to use this massacre to undermine any possibility of reaching a ceasefire through negotiations.

This is his way of failing negotiations and undermining them.

Netanyahu and his fascist government would not have dared to reach that far in their genocide if it wasn't for the silence of many Western governments, and if it wasn't for the unconditional support that he is receiving from the government of the United States.

The war crimes and atrocities committed in Gaza every day are not making policymakers and governments push toward stopping this genocidal war.

As the death toll rises, the international community is now, once again, called upon to respond to the escalating violence and the dire humanitarian crisis in the region.
