August 8: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation
Amid Israel's genocidal war on Gaza, which has killed at least 39,700 Palestinians so far, the majority of them children, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.
The major operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Tuesday, August 8, are as follows:
Al-Qassam Brigades' operations on August 8:
- - Launched a barrage of rockets toward Israeli military sites in "Gan Yavne" and "Ashdod."
- - Downed and seized two Israeli military aircraft, the "Skylark" and "Bombardier," while they were carrying out spying missions over Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip.
Al-Quds Brigades' operations on August 8:
- - Targeted the Israeli military's command and control headquarters in the “Netzarim” axis with a barrage of 107mm rockets.
Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades' operations on August 8:
- - Engaged in intense clashes with Israeli forces during the raid on Qalqilya city in the occupied West Bank, using machine guns.
Hezbollah's operations on August 8:
- - Targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers at the Al-Marj site with an attack drone.
- - Targeted the "Malikiyah" site with artillery shells.
- - Targeted Israeli spying equipment at the Ruwaisat Al-Alam site in the occupied Lebanese Kfar Shuba hills.
- - Targeted Iron Dome platforms with Katyusha rockets in the "Manot" area in the occupied western Galilee.
- - Targeted the "Zarit" barracks (headquarters of the brigade affiliated with the Western Battalion) with Burkan missiles.
- - Targeted the Al-Samaqa site in the occupied Lebanese Kfar Shuba hills with rockets.
- - Targeted the "Branit" barracks with Burkan missiles.
- - Targeted the “Ramim” barracks with rockets.
