Aug 5: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Amid Israel's genocidal war on Gaza, which has killed more than 39,600 Palestinians so far, the majority of them children, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.

The major operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Monday, August 5, are as follows:

Al-Qassam Brigades' operations on August 5:

• In a complex ambush in the Tal Al-Sultan neighborhood west of Rafah city, targeted four Israeli military Merkava tanks with Al-Yassin 105 shells, as well as an "M113" personnel carrier with a guerrilla explosive device and an Al-Yassin 105 shell. 
• Detonated the entrance of a booby-trapped tunnel in an Israeli military engineering force in the Zalata area east of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip.
• Targeted with mortar shells Israeli soldiers and military vehicles on the supply line in the “Netzarim” axis.
• Detonated an anti-personnel Ra'adiya explosive device on an Israeli infantry force next to an armored personnel carrier in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood, south of Gaza City.
• Targeted a D9 military bulldozer with an Al-Yassin 105 shell east of the Al-Farahin area, east of the city of Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip.
• Targeted an Israeli infantry force of nine soldiers at point-blank range in east of the Al-Farahin area, east of Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip.
• Detonated two anti-personnel and anti-vehicle explosive devices on an engineering force in the Zalata area east of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
• Detonated an anti-personnel device against an Israeli force fortified inside a building east of the Farahin area, east of the city of Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades' operations on August 5:

• Engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli forces in the areas of incursion into Jenin, occupied West Bank, with machine guns and explosive devices.
• Targeted the positions of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles around the Rafah crossing with heavy mortar shells.
• In a joint operation with the Mujahideen Brigades, bombarded the settlement of "Re'im" with a rocket barrage. 
• Targeted a group of Israeli soldiers and military vehicles with a barrage of heavy mortar shells on the eastern Rafah axis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Al-Quds Brigades' operations on August 5:

• Targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers and military vehicles with mortar shells on the supply line in the “Netzarim” axis.
• Targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers and military vehicles on the advance axes and around the Rafah crossing with a barrage of heavy mortar shells.

Mujahideen Brigades' operations on August 5:

• In a joint operation with the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, targeted the settlement of "Re'im" with a rocket barrage. 

Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces' operations on August 5:

• Targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers and military vehicles infiltrating the vicinity of Rafah crossing with heavy-caliber mortar shells.

Hezbollah's operations on August 5:

• The headquarters of the newly established 91st Division in the Elite Barracks was targeted with a barrage of drones. 
• The Al-Malikiyya site was targeted with a drone.
• Ramim site was targeted with artillery shells.
• Zar'it site was targeted with artillery shells.
• Ras al-Naqoura naval site was targeted with heavy artillery shells.
• Israeli artillery positions in Khirbet Ma'ar were targeted with rockets.
• Zabadin site in Lebanon's Shebaa were targeted with artillery shells.
• The Mount Neria base was targeted with drones.
