Millions of Yemenis have once again taken to the streets of the capital Sana’a and other cities in another weekend of pro-Gaza rallies, calling for more retaliatory operations by Yemen’s Army against Israel.

In the rallies, held for the 40th week in a row, people carried Palestinian and Yemeni flags and shouted slogans against the US and the Israeli regime.

The protesters demanded the Yemeni Army to retaliate the Saturday Israeli attack on Yemen's al-Hudaydah port and voiced readiness for direct confrontation with the regime and its main ally the US.

They chanted slogans confirming that the Yemeni people continue their support for the Palestinian people and their brave resistance, and are not intimidated by any aggression.

Protesters chanted slogans denouncing the Arab regimes that normalized ties with the Zionist entity in recent years for refusing to sever ties in response to repeated massacres in Gaza.

The Yemeni media estimated that over two million attended the rallies.

A rally statement saluted the steadfastness of the Palestinian people in the face of the American-Zionist killing machine and the heroism of the Palestinian resistance.

It also saluted the Yemeni Armed Forces and called for more actions as part of the fifth phase of anti-Israel operations.

"The enemy ignited our anger by setting fire in al-Hudaydah to achieve a false victory, and our operations continue; retaliation is inevitable."

To Arab and Muslim nations, it said: "If you do not want to defend the Palestinian people, then defend your dignity, which has been humiliated by Netanyahu. It is worthy for you to act and let your enemies hear your angry voices, to show that you are alive and that the disgraceful and shameful regimes do not represent you."

The Arab country has been holding rallies every Friday in solidarity with Palestine since the war broke out in Gaza on October 7.

It has also launched hundreds of anti-Israel operations in international waters to force Israel into ending the war on the Gaza Strip.

A drone attack by Yemen hit Tel Aviv last Friday, killing one person and injuring several others.

Yemen has vowed to launch retaliatory attacks on the Israeli-occupied territories in response to the Saturday attack by the Israeli regime on the Arab country.
