ECOWAS leaders meeting ends in Abuja

The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) wraps up its summit in the Nigerian capital Abuja as leaders fail to get three renegade coup-hit members to rejoin the organization.

The renegades, Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger have formed a confederation styled as the Sahel Alliance.
