Palestinian Resistance fighters have confronted Israeli military forces on multiple fronts in the Gaza Strip, with their military capacity remaining intact after eight months of Israel’s genocidal war on the besieged territory.

Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, said in a Monday statement that the fighters fired an anti-tank guided missile at an Israeli armored vehicle in southern Rafah.

Al-Qassam's mortar units jointly with al-Quds Brigades' fighters also attacked the regime’s military forces with barrages of mortar shells on Sunday.

The resistance fighters, it said, conducted another shelling operation against Israeli forces in the Tell al-Sultan neighborhood in southwest Rafah.

Al-Quds Brigades fighters also targeted Israeli soldiers in the Netzarim Axis with a salvo of rockets.

The development came after the head of the regime Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that the “intense phase” of fighting with Hamas fighters is nearly over in Rafah.

Netanyahu, however, said, “It does not mean that the war will be over.”

Israel launched its bloodiest-ever military campaign in Gaza in early October. Ever since, the regime’s military forces have killed more than 37,600 Palestinians.
