An independent Irish Member of the European Parliament (MEP) has censured the Israeli regime for rebuffing demands by the international community to abide by international law, stating that its actions attest to its nature as a terrorist entity.
“Israel has no respect for International Law - All those who support Israel have no respect for International Law. Israel is a Terrorist State,” Mick Wallace, an MEP from Ireland for the South constituency, wrote in a post published on the social media platform X on Saturday.
His remarks came amid reports that Israeli officials are accused of using phone taps, spying and intimidation against the International Criminal Court (ICC) prosecutors to derail possible war crimes investigations.
Earlier, Wallace stated that the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza had exposed the colonial mindset of the political elite of the European Union, the United States as well as the United Kingdom.
He had also sharply criticized the EU for supporting Israel as a terrorist entity.

Israel launched the war on Gaza on October 7 after Palestinian resistance groups carried out a surprise retaliatory operation into the occupied territories.
Concomitantly with the war, the regime has been enforcing a near-total siege on the coastal territory, which has reduced the flow of foodstuffs, medicine, electricity, and water into the Palestinian territory into a trickle.
So far during the military onslaught, the regime has killed at least 36,379 Gazans, most of them women, children, and adolescents. Another 82,407 Palestinians have sustained injuries as well.
