Bangladeshi students burn Israeli PM effigy at pro-Palestinian rally
Hundreds of Dhaka University students burned an effigy of Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a pro-Palestinian rally in the Bangladesh capital on Sunday.
The protesters also condemned recent police arrests and raids at United States universities where pro-Palestinian demonstrators set up camps on dozens of campuses calling for a ceasefire in the Israeli war on Gaza.
More than 34,600 Palestinians have been killed in Israel's seven-month-old assault on the Gaza Strip, say health officials in the besieged territory.
