Israeli onslaught on Gaza
It’s day 225 of the US-Israeli genocide in Gaza; the Tel Aviv regime keeps pounding the blockaded territory with more air and artillery fires. Nearly 30 people including 10 children were killed after Israeli jets targeted a residential area in Jabalia. Warplanes also bombed a house in eastern Khan Younis, leaving over a dozen people dead. The Israeli military says it struck over 70 targets across Gaza since Friday. On the ground, heavy fighting is underway in Rafah and Jabalia. Witnesses say the fighting in the area is the heaviest since the beginning of the Gaza genocide last year. The al-Qassam Brigades says it killed 15 troopers in an attack on a house in Rafah. The group also downed an Israeli helicopter. The death toll from over seven months of the genocidal war on Gaza is now nearly 35,400. The actual figure, however, is believed to be much higher as thousands of bodies remain under the rubble.
Hezbollah Israel strike
The Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah has released a video showing its attack on an Israeli military base inside the occupied territories. The video shows Hezbollah launching rockets at regime’s Tsnobar Base located 18 kilometers from the Lebanese border and inside the occupied Golan Heights. The base is said to be a logistical facility for the Israeli army’s regional and northern command. The video says the base contained munitions for regime’s artillery unit and was being protected by Iron Dome system when it came under attack. The Lebanese resistance movement and the Israeli military continue to exchange fire on a daily basis since the regime launched its war on Gaza.
London Nakba day rally
Huge crowds have taken to streets in the UK capital London to mark the 76th anniversary of the Nakba, the forced expulsions of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians by the Israeli regime. The protesters held Palestinian flags and banners calling for Palestinians to be allowed to return to their homes. Some people carried keys to highlight the stolen houses of Palestinians. The demonstrators called for an end to the ongoing genocide in Gaza and the invasion of the city of Rafah. They also denounced the UK’s support for the Israeli genocide and urged a boycott of the regime. London and other cities in Britain have been the scene of weekly pro-Palestine protests since October when the regime launched its genocidal onslaught on Gaza.
