Iranian security forces have managed to kill two terrorists in the country’s southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan near the border with Pakistan.
Iran's official IRNA news agency reported that the terrorists were traveling inside a car along a road in the Shuru rural district, located on the outskirt of the provincial capital city of Zahedan, on Thursday evening when they came under attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle.
Sistan and Baluchestan, which borders Pakistan and Afghanistan, has witnessed several terror attacks targeting both civilians and security forces in the past years.
Iran’s security forces have protected the border and managed to repel almost all assaults by foreign-backed terrorists.
