At least four Palestinians have been killed during overnight raids across the West Bank, amid surging violence and attacks by Israeli forces since the war broke out in the besieged Gaza Strip in early October last year.

Israeli troopers fatally shot a young Palestinian man and injured five others during a wide-scale raid in the northern occupied West Bank city of Jenin early on Wednesday,  WAFA reported.

The sources noted that Israeli military force stormed the yard of the Jenin Governmental Hospital in the city, and opened fire directly at a group of civilians who were standing in front of the emergency department, resulting in several injuries.

Medical staff at the hospital said Rabie al-Noursi, in his 20s, succumbed to his serious gun wounds inflicted by the Israeli forces during the raid.

Hours earlier, Israeli forces had stormed the city of Jenin and the adjacent refugee camp, triggering confrontations and causing significant damage to public infrastructure.

Palestinian security officials said Israeli soldiers broke into the area with dozens of military vehicles and bulldozers supported by drones and special undercover units.

A Caterpillar D9 bulldozer destroyed infrastructure in and around the Jenin refugee camp, and bulldozed streets and sewage lines, according to local sources and witnesses.

Moreover, a young Palestinian man and a teenager were fatally shot as Israeli forces opened fire on a group of people near the village of al-Jib, located 9.5 kilometers (5.9 miles) northwest of al-Quds. Another three people were injured as well.

The two victims were identified as 16-year-old Abdullah Mamoun Assaf, and Zaid Ward Khalaifeh, 23.

Elsewhere in the Shu'fat refugee camp on the outskirts of al-Quds, a 13-year-old teenager, identified as Rami Hamdan al-Halhuli, was shot and killed by Israeli forces.

More than 400 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank since October 7, when Israel waged the war on Gaza after Hamas carried out a historic operation against the occupying entity in retaliation for its intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.

The Israeli aggression has so far killed at least 31,184 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injured 72,889 others in Gaza. The Tel Aviv regime has imposed a “complete siege” on the territory, cutting off fuel, electricity, food, and water to the more than two million Palestinians living there.
