No safe place in Gaza

There is no safe place left inside Gaza. This despite nearly 27,000 Palestinians amongst them 11,000 children already killed by the US-Israeli genocide.

Thousands of Palestinians continue to flee from the southern city of Khan Younis as Israeli occupation forces advance into the city, but where can they go? Israel is attempting to bomb Gaza back into the Stone Age. All this is taking place against the backdrop of Tel Aviv's focus on defunding UNRWA, the aid agency that has been a lifeline for Palestinians, not only in Gaza but also the occupied West Bank, al-Quds, Syria, Jordan, and Lebanon. If the bombs from the skies are not successful, a lingering death with medicine, food, and water being withheld seems the next Israeli options for Palestinians. The political leader of Hamas says a ceasefire proposal, mediated by Qatar and Egypt, has been received, and that the resistance group is open to discussing any serious initiatives that lead to comprehensive of cessation of violence. The Palestinians are correct to be wary of any new offers.
