Jan. 29: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against Israel and its Western backers amid the regime's genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, which has killed more than 26,700 Palestinians, mostly children and women.

The operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Monday, January 29, are as follows:

Al-Qassam Brigades’ operations on Jan. 29:

• Shelled Tel Aviv with a barrage of rockets in the first such attack in weeks.
• Targeted an Israeli military D9-bulldozer surrounded by regime soldiers with Yassin-105 shells in the Jura Al-Aqad area, west of Khan Younis city, southern Gaza Strip.

Al-Quds Brigades’ operations on Jan. 29:

• Launched rockets, heavy mortar shells and Badr-1 IRAM rockets at the main logistical support point used by Israeli troops for vehicle maintenance in the Sudanese area northwest of Gaza.
• Engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli regime soldiers in Khan Yunis city using machine guns and anti-armor shells.
• Targeted a group of Israeli snipers entrenched in a building in the neighborhood west of Khan Younis city with a guided missile.
• Blew up a Merkava tank with a "Thaq'eb - Barrel" high-explosive device around the Hassan Salama Mosque west of Khan Younis city.
• Shelled Israeli regime soldiers and their vehicles in the central and western axes of Khan Younis city with mortar shells.

Mujahideen Brigades’ operations on Jan. 29:

• Shelled gatherings of Israeli regime forces northwest of Gaza City with rockets.

Martyrs of Al-Aqsa Brigades’ operations on Jan. 29

• Engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli regime forces using appropriate weapons in various axes in the Gaza Strip.
• Targeted an Israeli military vehicle with RPGs in the western axis of Khan Younis city, southern Gaza Strip.

Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces operations on Jan. 29:

• Engaged in clashes with the Israeli army attempting to advance in the vicinity of Al-Shifa Hospital, west of Gaza City.
• Engaged in clashes with the Israeli forces in Batn Al-Sameen and Al-Amal neighborhood, and launched an RPG rocket at one of the regime military vehicles.
• Shelled Israeli military positions and gatherings of their vehicles in Khan Younis city with heavy mortars, achieving direct hits and causing heavy losses.
• Engaged in clashes with Israeli forces, using machine guns, hand grenades, anti-personnel and anti-armor rockets, inflicting casualties.
• Engaged in clashes with Israeli forces near the Al-Amal Hospital and the Batn Al-Sameen axis in Khan Younis, using machine guns and anti-armor rockets, causing casualties.

Hezbollah’s operations on Jan. 29:

Eastern sector:

• At around 11:45 local time, the Metulla site was targeted with appropriate weapons.
• At around 13:30 local time, Israeli soldiers in Honin Castle were targeted.
• At around 15:55 local time, Israeli soldiers at the Summaqa site were targeted.
• At around 18:00 local time, Israeli soldiers on Al-Taihat Hill were targeted with missiles.
• At around 20:20 local time, Israeli soldiers in Ramim Barracks were targeted with Falaq rockets.

Western sector:

• At around 00:20 local time, the Barkat Risha site was targeted with Burkan rockets.
• At around 00:20 local time, the Hadab Yarin site was targeted with Burkan rockets.
• At around 8:00 local time, the Beranit Barracks was targeted with Burkan rockets.
• At around 10:00 local time, Israeli soldiers at the Jal al-Alam site were targeted with a Falaq rocket.
• At around 11:15 local time, Israeli soldiers in Mitat Barracks were targeted with missiles.
• At around 14:10 local time, Israeli soldiers in Zarit barracks were targeted.
• At around 17:10 local time, Beranit Barracks was targeted by two Falaq rockets.
• At around 18:30 local time, Israeli soldiers in the Al-Jardah site were targeted with Burkan rockets.

Iraqi resistance’s operations on Jan. 29:

• In the wee hours of Monday morning, targeted an Israeli military post in occupied Palestine, confirming the destruction of the target.

Yemeni military’s operations on Jan. 29:

• Launched a naval missile at a US Navy ship, the USS Lewis B Puller, while it was sailing in the Gulf of Aden. Among the tasks of this ship was to provide logistical support to the American forces participating in the aggression against Yemen, the statement noted.
