Resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against Israel and its Western backers amid the regime's genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, which has killed more than 26,000 Palestinians, mostly children and women.
The operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Friday, January 26, are as follows:
Al-Qassam Brigades’ operations on Jan. 26:
- Targeted an Israeli military force inside a building west of Khan Yunis, southern Gaza, with an anti-personnel rocket, resulting in the killing of one soldier and several injuries.
- Engaged in clashes with an Israeli infantry force consisting of eight soldiers in the Sheikh Ajleen area, southwest of Gaza City, causing casualties.
- Destroyed six Merkava tanks and a military D9-bulldozer in various battle zones throughout the besieged Gaza Strip.
- Ambushed and attacked seven Israeli soldiers at the entrance of a tunnel, northwest of Maghazi Camp, resulting in casualties.
- Targeted an Israeli military convoy with Yassin 105 shells, in Maghazi Camp, central Gaza.
Al-Quds Brigades’ operations on Jan. 26:
- Shot dead an Israeli soldier in the western axis of Khan Yunis city, southern Gaza.
- Shelled Israeli military vehicles and soldiers in them with a barrage of mortars in the western and southwest axes of Khan Yunis city.
- Shelled Ashkelon, Sderot, Nir Am, and other settlements in the northern Gaza Strip with rockets.
- Shot down an Israeli military drone during its spying mission, east of Shuja'iyya.
- Shelled an Israeli military site "Kusufim" with a salvo of rockets.
- Shelled Israeli regime soldiers east of the Bureij Camp.
- Shelled a gathering of Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of the "Abu Safiya" military site with mortars.
- Shelled a gathering of Israeli soldiers east of Al-Masdar village with several mortars.
- Targeted an Israeli military vehicle with a "Tandem" rocket, east of Maghazi Camp.
Mujahideen Brigades’ operations on Jan. 26:
- Shelled gatherings of Israeli forces in the eastern Bureij with multiple rockets.
- Shelled "Nahl Oz" with a rocket barrage.
- Shelled Yiftah" military site, headquarters of the 1st Battalion of the Israeli military’s Northern Brigade in the Gaza Division.
Al-Aqsa Brigades’ operations on Jan. 26:
- Shelled gatherings of Israeli soldiers and their vehicles with mortars, west of Khan Yunis.
Hezbollah’s operations on Jan. 26:
Eastern sector:
- At around 8:10 local time, a gathering of Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of Hunin Castle was targeted with appropriate weapons.
- At around 13:00 local time, the Maale Golan Barracks was targeted with Falaq 1 missiles.
- At around 16:10 local time, a gathering of Israeli soldiers in the Maale Golan Barracks was targeted with a large barrage of Katyusha rockets.
- At around 23:05 local time, the position and deployment of Israeli soldiers near Metulla were targeted with missiles.
Western sector:
- At around 21:00 local time, a gathering of Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of the Birkat Risha site was pounded.
- At around 21:00 local time, a sniper targeted the newly created Israeli military surveillance site mounted in the Zarait barracks.
- At around 21:55 local time, the Zarit Barracks was targeted by a Burkan missile.
- At around 22:00 local time, a gathering of Israeli soldiers on Cobra Hill was targeted with two Burkan missiles.
- At around 22:40 local time, one of the buildings in the Avivim settlement was targeted with appropriate weapons.
Iraqi resistance’s operations on Jan. 26:
- Attacked the US occupation Ain al-Asad base in western Iraq with drones, causing large-scale damage and likely casualties.
- Targeted the US occupation base near Erbil Airport in northern Iraq with drones, causing large-scale damage and likely casualties.
- Attacked two US occupation bases in the Green Village and the Conoco field deep in Syria with drones, resulting in destruction.
Yemeni military's operations on Jan. 26:
- British oil tanker Marlin Luanda was successfully targeted with missiles in the Gulf of Aden, resulting in massive fire and destruction.
