Namibia Slams Germany over Genocide

Namibia has denounced Germany's "shocking" decision to back the Israeli apartheid regime in the South African-led genocide complaint before the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

Germany was responsible for the massacres of at least 70,000 Indigenous Herero and Nama people in Namibia between 1904 and 1908.

Elsewhere, Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni has condemned Western powers following his country’s removal from a major trade pact with the United States over alleged human rights violations.

In this edition, Africa Today asks, why are Western powers using trade as a tool to spread their decadent culture?
