Gaza ceasefire agreement

The Hamas resistance movement has hailed the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, which was achieved following intense negotiations through mediators. The movement called the agreement the result of the legendary resilience of Palestinian people and resistance in the Gaza Strip for more than 15 months. Describing the agreement as an achievement for the entire Muslim world, Hamas said it was a milestone in the Palestinians’ conflict with the enemy on the path to achieving liberation. The movement also reaffirmed its commitment to stopping Israel’s aggression against the Palestinian people and ending the regime’s genocidal war. The agreement was announced earlier on Wednesday, with the Qatari prime minister saying it would start on Sunday. He added that 33 Israeli captives will be released in the first phase, and Israeli forces will withdraw from Gaza and remain positioned on its border. The US President, Joe Biden, also said the agreement was permanent, and promised an increasing flow of humanitarian aid to Gaza.

Resilient resistance

A senior Hamas official has welcomed the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, calling it a result of the resilience of resistance fighters and their firm stance against Israel. Khalil Al-Hayya said during the Israeli onslaught on Gaza, Hamas fighters carried out operations against the enemy with a will and strength that the world has never seen before. He said Hamas’ military wing, the al-Qassam Brigades, dealt such heavy blows to Israeli forces which will not be forgotten in history. Hayya stressed that resistance fighters proved that the occupying enemy would never be able to defeat the Palestinian people and their resistance. The Hamas official also stressed that the resistance succeeded in foiling all the enemy's covert and overt plans in Gaza. Hayya emphasized that Palestinian people will never forgive and forget those who participated in Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza. He also expressed gratitude to Iran and the Resistance Front for their unwavering support for Gaza during Israel’s genocidal war.
