Jan. 2: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against Israel and its Western backers amid the regime's genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, which has claimed the lives of more than 22,000 Palestinians, mostly children and women.

The operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Tuesday, January 2, are as follows:

Qassam Brigades' operations on Jan. 2:

• Targeted a Merkava tank with an Al-Yassin 105 shell east of Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
• Clashed with an infantry force consisting of 5 soldiers from point zero, using machine guns and hand grenades, east of Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. The fighters confirmed that they were finished off and then returned to their bases safely.
• Targeted an Israeli vehicle with a Yassin 105 shell in Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
• Targeted a gathering of  vehicles and soldiers southeast of Khan Yunis with mortar shells.
• Targeted a gathering of vehicles and soldiers northeast of Al-Bureij Camp with heavy caliber mortar shells.
• Targeted a Zionist Merkava tank with an Al-Yassin 105 shell in the Al-Qarara area, north of the city of Khan Yunis.
• Targeted a troop carrier with a guerrilla action device in the Ma’an area, southeast of the city of Khan Yunis.
• Finished off 5 soldiers from point zero northeast of the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
•  Targeted a Merkava tank with an Al-Yassin 105 shell in the Ma’an area, southeast of the city of Khan Yunis.

Hezbollah's operations on Jan. 2:

- Eastern sector:

1- At 11:30, drone attack on the newly established 91st Command Headquarters of the Israeli enemy in Illit.

2- At 15:00, the Al-Sammaqa site in Shebaa was targeted.

3- At 15:30, targeting a position of Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of the Al-Marj site.

4- At 16:25, new equipment that the enemy had placed on cranes near the Ramim barracks was targeted with appropriate weapons.

5- At 22:25, a group of Israeli soldiers were targeted in the vicinity of the Al-Marj site.

6- At 23:00, the vicinity of the Al-Marj site was targeted.

- Western sector:

1- At 9:00, a gathering of Israeli soldiers was targeted in the Zarit barracks.

2- At 15:00, the Birkat Risha site was targeted.

3- At 17:35, Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of the Jal al-Alam site were targeted.

4- At 18:00, the Mitat Barracks was targeted.

Iraqi resistance's operations on Jan. 2:

• Attacked the US base near Erbil Airport in northern Iraq, with suicide drones.

• Attacked the Al-Shaddadi US base in Syria, with a missile salvo.
• Attacked the Abu Hajar US airfield base near Rmelan in Syria, with suicide drones.
• Attacked the Al-Malikiyah US base northeast of the Syrian province of Al-Hasakah, with suicide drones
