The Israeli military kills dozens more civilians in the besieged Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank as the regime comes under more pressure to end its genocidal war and accept a new temporary ceasefire in the besieged Palestinian territory.
Israeli warplanes and artillery on Wednesday continued to bomb various areas in the besieged Gaza Strip, especially on Jabaliya and Khan Yunis in northern and central Gaza.
Heavy Israeli bombardment targeted Jabaliya resulting in the killing and injury of scores of Palestinian civilians, most of them children and women.
The director-general of the Ministry of Health in Gaza said in a post on X that at least 46 bodies and 110 injured people have been brought to Jabalia Medical Center since the morning in northern Gaza.
Dozens were still trapped under the rubble of buildings bombed by Israeli forces, Munir al-Bursh added.
The bombing on Jabaliya comes after 16 civilians were killed and more than 70 others were injured on Tuesday evening in a bombing that targeted the town and refugee camp.
More than a dozen civilians were also killed and others were injured when the Israeli warplanes bombed a house in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
The Israeli warplanes have also reportedly launched a series of raids on the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, in conjunction with violent artillery shelling. At least 15 people were killed and others were injured when the aircraft bombed a house for the Hamdan family, west of Khan Yunis.
Also west of Khan Yunis, a child was killed and a number of others were wounded in a bombing that targeted a house in the Japanese neighborhood. And a number of injuries occurred as a result of an Israeli raid on the city’s al-Amal neighborhood.
Homes, mosque destroyed in Israeli attack on Rafah
A large mosque in the area was completely destroyed, which also caused a lot of damage to the surrounding areas. Two residential homes have also been destroyed in the attack.
Moments before the attacks Israeli drones were circling around the area, and have been doing so for the past five days.
The occupation aircraft also bombed a house in the middle of the Shaboura camp in the center of the city of Rafah, resulting in the killing and injury of many citizens.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces have raided al-Ahli Hospital, knocking it out of service and abducting staff members and patients. It was the last functioning medical facility in northern Gaza.
The Internet and phone services have been cut off in Gaza as well due to Israeli attacks.
Israel signals readiness for a new ceasefire in Gaza
Israel has reportedly signaled readiness for a new ceasefire in Gaza as the international pressure mounts on the regime to end its genocidal war.
According to Israeli media, Tel Aviv has informed Qatar about its willingness for a temporary truce.
The regime will also allow the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza in exchange for the release of Israeli captives.
Meanwhile, Hamas resistance movement’s chief Ismail Haniyeh is in Egypt for truce talks. A previous agreement mediated by Qatar and Egypt led to a week-long truce at the end of November.
During that period, Hamas freed 86 captives in exchange for the release of 240 Palestinian women and children.
The regime unleashed its war for the stated goal of releasing its captives and eliminating Hamas. None of the goals however have been achieved.
Since the start of the offensive, the Tel Aviv regime has killed at least 19,667 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injured 52,586 others. Thousands more are also missing and presumed dead under the rubble.
