After 48 days of Israeli genocide in the besieged Gaza Strip, the regime was forced into an agreement and ceasefire following which 39 Palestinians were freed from Israeli prisons on Friday.
The Palestinians who were released, included 24 women and 15 children. This reality brings to the forefront the frequency at which the Israeli regime arrests Palestinian children arbitrarily and many times without even charging them.
In this edition of the Spotlight program, Press TV looks at why the regime accepted the truce, how Palestinian resistance has paid off and how the prisoners are exchanged after the truce.
