The BRICS group of emerging economic powers! The alliance was initially formed in 2006 by Brazil, Russia, China and India, and was joined, four years later, by South Africa.

Representing 40 percent of the worlds population and a quarter of the global economy, the blocs member nations have gone on a quest for a multipolar world order in which no single power dominates.
