In the UK, senior doctors have gone on their first strike in a decade over a pay dispute. This comes on the heels of the UK PM Sunak giving his final pay increase offer of about six percent, indicating this is non-negotiable. 

But was this increase adequate, when inflation on essentials on food is running around 20 percent?
