Ties between Russia and Iran are growing. Tehran and Moscow have finalized an agreement for the construction of a mega rail-way project that connects the two countries via Azerbaijan.

The Rasht-Astara railway will complete a south-north corridor that connects southern Asia to Northern Europe. Separately, Russia’s second-largest bank, VTB, has opened a branch in Iran, allowing businesspeople from boost countries to do trade more easily.
