Iran prioritizes ties with Africa

Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian recently visited Africa amid renewed efforts by the Islamic Republic to boost ties with all regions of the world. The top Iranian diplomat visited Mali, Tanzania and also Zanzibar, a semi-autonomous region of Tanzania.

At the conclusion of the first leg of his African visit in Mali, Amir-Abdollahian expressed hope that his talks with high ranking officials in Bamako would lead increased bilateral cooperation.

This week’s edition is focusing on the recent visit to Africa by Iran’s foreign Hossein Amir Abdollahian as the Islamic Republic moves to boost economic, trade and political ties with the continent.

We have a special guest here in the studio who will give us his insight on the visit. The second part of our show will be on the move by Ethiopia to continue filling its Grand Renaissance Dam despite objections by Egypt and Sudan.
