Over the NBA, the Minnesota Timberwolves have cruised past the visiting Milwaukee Bucks 138-119 to extend their win streak to four games.
Minnesota took control early on, outscoring the Bucks by an identical 34-28 margin in each of the first two quarters to lead 68-56 at half-time. The Wolves raced into a 24-point lead by the end of the third quarter, and fended off Milwaukee’s 4th quarter rally to take the win.
Karl-Anthony Towns recorded his seventh double-double in the last eight games with 25 points and 11 rebounds to help the Timberwolves sweep the two-game season series with the Bucks. There were also wins for the Hornet, Wizards and the Cavaliers on Saturday night.
