People from all walks of life held a rally Monday in front of the Red Cross Office in Gaza to support Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.
They protested Tel Aviv’s inhumane treatment of thousands of Palestinian political prisoners especially those held under administrative detention.
The event is part of a weeklong national campaign in solidarity with Palestinian prisoners.
This as Palestinian prisoners observed a one day hunger strike on Monday in all Israeli prisons.
Palestinian prisoners suffer from inhumane treatment inside Israeli jails and are denied basic rights.
Last month alone, Israeli regime force arrested 504 Palestinians including 50 children.
Rights activists say Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails will continue to suffer as long as the world turns a blind eye to Tel Aviv's violations of their rights.
Palestinian administrative detainees are being held without charge or trial while their incarceration periods can be renewed indefinitely.
Currently the Israeli regime keeps more than five hundred Palestinian prisoners under administrative detention including women and minors.
