Over the NBA, the Boston Celtics have returned to the winning ways after edging past the Cleveland Cavaliers 111 to 101 at the TD Garden.
The hosts opened up a 5-point advantage in the opener, before taking 2nd quarter 32-22 as they went to their locker room with a 63 to 48 lead. The Cavs regrouped after the break and took the next 2 quarters, but it was not enough and the Celtics pocketed a 10-point overall victory on Wednesday night to keep their playoffs hopes alive.
Jaylen Brown and Robert Williams combined half of the points for Boston as they tallied 34 and 21 points respectively.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday night in Milwaukee, the Bucks hammered the Slumping Houston Rockets 126 to 106 to join to top 6 in the Eastern Conference.
The defending Champions got the upper hand at the end of the 3rd quarter after leading 97 to 76. But the Rockets did not give up and won the final quarter 30-29, which was all in vain as Milwaukee earned their 20th victory of the season.
The Bucks will travel to Dallas to play against the Mavericks, while the Indiana Pacers will welcome the Rockets.
