According to New York Times and several other news outlets, Washington has decided against punishing any members of the US military involved in an August drone attack in the Afghan capital. Ten civilians, including seven children, were killed in that Kabul attack.

An internal Pentagon review has concluded that the bombing in Kabul did not violate the laws of war and was not caused by misconduct or criminal negligence. The guests in this edition of The Spotlight shed more light on the issue.
