Over the latest news from NBA, the Milwaukee Bucks have come from behind to edge the visiting Charlotte Hornets 127 to 125.
The visitors stunned the Bucks by winning the opener 41-25, but Milwaukee found its way back to the game by taking the 2nd quarter with an 8-point margin to go to their locker room trailing 68-60. The defending champions turned the table on the Hornets after the break, as they took a 2-point lead by the end of the 3rd quarter.
The battle in the final was quite fierce with the two teams running neck and neck, but a reverse layup by Giannis Antetokounmpo in the dying moments of the game helped the Bucks stretch their winning run to 8 games and move up to 3rd in the Eastern Conference.
The Greek Super Star tallied 40 points for Milwaukee, while LaMelo Ball had a career-high 36 points for Charlotte.
Meanwhile, the Miami Heat slipped to 5th in the Eastern Conference standings, after suffering their 2nd loss in a row against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Cavs won the first three quarters to open up a 24 point gap at end of the 3rd quarter. The heat won the final by two but that was not enough as the Cavs won the game 111 to 85. The Cavaliers will travel to Washington to line up against the Wizards, whereas the Heat will visit the Indiana Pacers.
