Over basketball news, the Phoenix Suns have extended their incredible winning streak to seventeen games, after defeating the Golden State Warriors 104-96, at home.
The hosts were up only two points by the break and with Devin Booker leaving in the second quarter, it was left to veteran Chris Paul to lead the Suns to victory. Things stayed unchanged by the end of the third quarter, but a superb defense by Phoenix saw them holding off Golden State under 100 points for the first time this year.
Deandre Ayton poured in 24 points, with Paul adding an additional 15. Jordan Poole of the Warriors led all scorers with 28 points. It was a struggling night for Stephen Curry, who shot just 4 of 21. The two teams will go against each other once more on Friday.
