NBA: Boston Celtics 122-113 Milwaukee Bucks
Over the latest news from the NBA, the Celtics have topped the defending champions 122-113 at the TD Garden in Boston.
The Bucks went to their locker room with a 55-51 advantage. But, the hosts found their rhythm after the break and took a 7-point lead at the end of the 3rd quarter.
However, the Bucks did not give up and managed to level the score 108-apiece to send the match to overtime, but they fell behind as the Celtics earned a 9-point overall victory. Dennis Schroder was the best player of the game as he pocketed 38 points for Boston.
Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns smashed the Memphis Grizzlies 119-94 away from home. The 2021 runners-up, Suns got the upper hand at the end of the 3rd quarter after registering a 92-64 lead.
The deficit was too large for the Grizzlies to overcome as they eventually lost the game by 25 points. The Suns will travel to Houston to line up against the Rockets on Sunday and the Grizzlies will go to New Orleans to meet the Pelicans on Saturday.
