Over the latest from the NBA, the Golden State Warriors have returned to winning ways with a 103-82 demolition of the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder.
Golden State who were coming off their first loss of the season against the Memphis Grizzlies, outscored the thunder 28-20 in the 1st quarter and made it an 11 point margin at half time. The Warriors kept up the pressure in the 3rd to take a handsome 24 point advantage into the final Stanza before securing the win.
Stephen Curry finished with a game-high 20 points for the Warriors, who beat the Thunder for the second time in five days.
Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers routed the Atlanta Hawks 122-94 for their 2nd straight win. The Sixers cruised from the opening tip to the final buzzer, outscoring Atlanta in all 4 quarters.
Philadelphia led 60-46 at the intermission and extended the advantage to 23 by the end of the 3rd before closing it out 33-25 for the win. Next up, Philadelphia host the Blazers, while Atlanta welcome the Washington Wizards.
