Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes early Monday on positions in the Gaza Strip in response to incendiary balloons fired from Gaza.
Palestinians say these balloons are a means to pressure the Israeli regime to respond to their demands and lift the 15-year siege that is deteriorating the life of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
Among the demands, Palestinians call for the import of building materials required for the reconstruction of Gaza and the Qatari grant. Israel refuses all the Palestinian demands and links the reconstruction process in Gaza to political issues.
According to the Israeli army statement, the airstrike over Gaza won't stop as long as Palestinians keep firing incendiary balloons. The Palestinian resistance says it's ready for all scenarios, including renewed fighting in the face of the Israeli inhumane acts.
Palestinians say the Israeli airstrike are aimed at putting pressure on resistance groups to give up their demands. The Palestinians stress that they will keep firing the incendiary balloons until Israel lifts its crippling blockade and end restrictions on the re-construction of war-ravaged Gaza.
