Leader’s support heartened Palestinian youths to take on Zionists: Palestinian party

A Palestinian political party joins the chorus of gratitude towards Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei for supporting the Palestinian nation in the face of the Zionist Israeli regime’s recent intensified aggression.

The Palestinian Popular Struggle Front, which is affiliated to the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) umbrella group, communicated strong appreciation of the Leader’s supportive stance during the recent confrontation on Saturday.

Ayatollah Khamenei’s “support for the Palestinian resistance provided the youths of this land with the conviction and strength to confront the Zionists,” the party’s Secretary-General Khaled Abdul-Majid said on Saturday, addressing the media.

The Leader and other Iranian authorities’ constant supportive stance played “an important and active role” in empowering the resistance to the extent that it managed to afflict heavy damage on the Israeli forces and illegal settlers through its reprisal against the aggression, he added.

Earlier this month, the Israeli regime launched a 12-day war against the already Tel Aviv-blockaded Gaza Strip. Gaza’s resistance groups started responding to the aggression on the same day that it started targeting the enclave.

Throughout the offensive, the groups fired more than 4,000 rockets towards the occupied territories. The projectiles swept the entire expanse of the territories, many flying as far as Tel Aviv, the holy occupied city of al-Quds, and even the northern-lying cities of Haifa and Nazareth.

The Israeli regime finally gave in to a ceasefire on Friday, incapable of stopping the resistance’s rocket avalanche.

The Palestinian official considered the Islamic Republic’s invariable backing of the Palestinian nation in the face of the Israeli regime’s “organized state terrorism and savage crimes” throughout the Palestinian territories, to be “a source of pride.”

Gaza’s resistance movements, Hamas and the Islamic Jihad, have already voiced vociferous gratitude towards the Leader for the support.

The secretary general of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad offers his congratulations to Ayatollah Khamenei over the great victory against the Israeli regime in the 12-day war.

“The Palestinian nation, all the countries participating in the resistance axis, and all the freedom-seeking people of the world take pride in the great victory,” Abdul-Majid added.

The Islamic Republic is the “real and main supporter” of all resistance groups throughout the world, and also serves as the main guarantor of regional stability and the international Muslim Ummah (Nation)’s unity, he added.

The entire Palestinian nation, including all the resistance groups, “enter allegiance” with Ayatollah Khamenei to keep up their resistance and popular struggle against the occupiers until Palestine’s liberation.
