Over the NBA, the Memphis Grizzlies have overcome the Heat 124 to 112 at the American Airlines Arena in Miami.
Memphis cruised from the opening tip to the final buzzer, outscoring Miami in all 4 quarters. They led the Heat by 7 points after 3 quarters of play and pushed the advantage to as many as 19 in the final quarter on their way to snap the Heat’s 4-game winning streak.
The Grizzlies had also ended Miami’s 5-game winning streak last month. The Grizzlies will next visit the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night, while Miami are home to the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday.
Elsewhere, the Chicago Bulls earned a 113 to 97 road win over the Indiana Pacers. Leading by 13 points at half-time, the Bulls widened the gap to 23 at the end of the 3rd quarter and the sizeable advantage was more than enough to seal a 2nd straight win.
Chicago were led by Nikola Voochevich, who tallied 32 points, while Caris LeVert had 20 points for the Pacers, who lost for the 4th time in their last 5 games. In the other Tuesday night matches, the Lakers, the Hawks, the 6ers, the Nuggets, the Clippers and the Warriors defeated their opponents.
