Over Basketball news, the Boston Celtics have come from behind to beat the Clippers 119 to 115 at Staples Center in Los Angeles.
The Hosts dominated the match in the 1st half as they went to their locker room with a 62 to 51 advantage. But the Celtics regrouped after the break and took a 7 point-lead after smashing the Clippers 38 to 20 in the 3rd quarter.
The Clippers, however, did not give up and managed to take the final quarter with a 3-point margin, which was all in vain and the Celtics took the overall victory with a 4-point margin. Jayson Tatum and Kemba Walker tallied 34 and 24 points for the Celtics respectively, as Kawhi Leonard bagged 28 for the Clippers.
Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nets suffered a home defeat after going down to the Toronto Raptors 123 to 117 at Barclays Center.
The Raptors were the better side at the end of the 3rd quarter with a 92 to 90 advantage. The Raptors then kept up the momentum and took the final quarter that led to their 3rd consecutive victory.
The Nets will travel to Philadelphia to play against Eastern Conference Leaders the 76ers on Saturday, while the Raptors will line up against the Hawks in Atlanta on Tuesday.
