Over with Basketball, the Boston Celtics have rebounded to grab a dominant 117 to 106 win over the Miami Heat in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals, making it a 2-1 series.
After falling into a 2-nothing hole, the Celtics regrouped in Game 3 and rushed to a 31 to 22 win in the first quarter. Boston then added 4 more points to their lead, following a 63 to 50 advantage at the intermission, before pushing the lead to 15 in the 3rd quarter.
In the 4th, Miami cut the deficit to just 5 points, with less than a minute left, but the Heat got no closer as the Celtics held on to inflict Miami’s 2nd loss of the postseason.
Boston’s Jayson Tatum added 25 points, 14 rebounds and 8 assists in the win, while Bam Adebayo led the Heat with 27 points and 16 rebounds. Game 4 is on Wednesday.
