In this edition of The Subcontinent we will look into how Wahhabism and its teachings fostered extremism, terrorism, sectarianism and religious intolerance in Pakistan, a country that has been the victim of terrorism for years. In addition to that, we will try to shed light on the Saudi government and its petrodollars role in promoting and supporting this extremist ideology across Pakistan.
We will also talk about The South Asian Association for regional cooperation (SAARC) and its vague future in the middle of tensions between its members in the Subcontinent plus Afghanistan.
